Food & drink has been spot on everyother time if have been there.... But on St. Patrick's Day it evolves into a 'spiritual' experience. Strongly recommend a Guinness and burger with the company of lively folks present and past! Sláinte!
We just love going here!! Love the historical building. We've eaten dinner there 4 times and haven't had one complaint. Very good chef and the staff is great -- so pleasant!!
Phenomenal food and a selection not found in many of the restaurants in the area. Our group enjoyed the Irish Beef Dip Sandwich, Homemade Onion Soup, Dubliner Irish Cheese Crusted & Seafood Stuffed Haddock, Bang Bang Shrimp and Roasted Beets with Balsamic. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was relaxing and laid back. We will definitely be going back.
A quaint, attractive old building with several well-decorated rooms for dining and a cool bar area. Rooms to rent are upstairs. We sat at the bar and met several local couples who had been there forever and loved our conversation with them. Riley was our bartender and he was just super! We ordered the hot roast beef and the chicken pot pie. Both were delicious! Prices are incredibly reasonable. $5 for a Guinness and $4.25 for a glass of wine. Even the food was very reasonable. This is a great place to come and relax with family or friends!
As a Murphy I have opinions on Irish pubs and I have nothing but good things to say. Service, food, vibe? All were outstanding. Do yourself a favor and stop here.
While staying at the Inn we decided to checked out the pub for an early dinner. The food was just amazing. I started with the Rattle Snake Shrimp and it definitely had some kick, just the right amount of heat and the fresh bacon bits and cheese on it just seals the deal. I had the Bangers and Mash as my main course and it was cooked to perfection with a rough mash on the potatoes made it delicious. For dessert I had the warm Apple pie à la mode, the crust was slightly sweet so combined with the apple filling it was just spectacular. It was one of the best desserts I’ve had in a while. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.
I stopped in for lunch with my Daughter and we had a most wonderful meal! Thanks to Chelsea S. for terrific service and recommendations. I had the Dugan House Burger-fantastic. The bacon jam was over the top. My Daughter had the Cuban sandwich. We shared a very generous portion of onion rings. The Guinness Chocolate cake and coffee was a perfect ending to the lunch. Very reasonable price. Highly recommend!
If only I had taken my phone with me 😭!!! The food was delicious! Service amazing despite a busy friday night and us coming infairly late. My boyfriend ordered banana cream pie as dessert and I had tiny mouse bites bc figure watching girl! Delicious!! My chicken Spiedie Salad was PHENOMENAL!! The croutons weren't oily or garlic thank god just plain baked bread pieces. Nice sized salad and very filling ! Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating and the owner asked.how things were. Very exceptional service in the best small town!
I've been here a few times but I never wrote a review before. In these photos you will see some grilled shrimp that I had with a power bowl that was a special that night. My friend had the cobb salad and my other friend had the crab cakes. They both really enjoyed their dinners.
I don’t think I’ve ever struggled so much to pick an item at a restaurant, the entire menu is full of great options and everything I’ve had was excellent. The French Onion Soup in particular is incredible. Service is also great every time as well. Has been our go-to spot while working in Owego.
